Thank you for shopping at The Seed Story. We carefully hand-package every order to ensure your seeds and kits arrive safely and ready for planting.
Please find all details regarding our dispatch times, delivery methods, and legal conditions below.
 

1. Order Processing Times

• Dispatch Window: All orders are processed, packaged, and dispatched within 3 to 4 working days once payment has cleared.

• Working Days: Our packing days are Monday to Friday. We do not package or post items on weekends or UK Bank Holidays.
   

2. Postage & Delivery Methods

• Standard Delivery: We post all UK orders via Royal Mail 2nd Class.

• Estimated Delivery Time: Once dispatched, Royal Mail 2nd Class typically takes 2 to 3 working days to arrive at your door.
   

Please note: Delivery times are estimated windows provided by Royal Mail and may vary slightly during peak seasonal periods or unexpected postal delays.
 

3. Urgent Orders

If you need your seed kit quickly for a birthday, anniversary, or special event, we will always do our best to accommodate your request!

4. Delayed or Missing Deliveries

If your package has not arrived within 7 working days of receiving your dispatch confirmation email, please:

1. Double-check your delivery address on your original order confirmation.

2. Check with neighbours or in any designated safe places around your property.

3. Contact us at info@theseedstory.co.uk with your order number so we can investigate.
    

5. Legal Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

• Incorrect Address Details: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the correct, full postal address and delivery details are provided at checkout. The Seed Story cannot be held liable for delayed, lost, or misdelivered packages resulting from inaccurate or incomplete address details supplied by the buyer.

• Third-Party Postal Delays: Whilst we guarantee dispatch within our stated timeframe, The Seed Story is not liable for delays caused by Royal Mail, postal strikes, extreme weather conditions, or any events beyond our reasonable control.

• Transfer of Risk: Risk of loss or damage to items passes to the customer upon physical delivery of the goods to the address or safe place specified in the order.

• Customs & Import Duties (Where Applicable): For any orders placed from or dispatched outside the UK mainland, the customer is solely responsible for any local customs duties, import taxes, or local regulatory inspections that may apply.
